We’re always adding new options to our Hot Deli menu, plus we’ve got a ready-to-cook & ready-to-reheat range, as well as all the ingredients you need—all in one place.

Our team starts bright and early at 5am each day, crafting breakfast rolls, sausage rolls, hot and ready to reheat lunches & dinners, along with baking a selection of desserts.  We take pride in making everything from scratch with locally sourced ingredients crafted by hand in-store!  We’re always open to new ideas, and expand our offerings every chance we get.

Terry’s Butchers has come a long way since its beginnings in 1999. Originally opened by Mike Quirke as Quirke’s Butchers, it started out in a small 250-square-foot unit on Oakpark Road, Tralee, with Terry Healy managing the shop.  After five years, we moved to a larger space across the road, where Terry and Anne Marie Healy took over the business.

Moving to the new location on the main road brought a boost in business, thanks to convenient parking for up to 18 cars.

Initially, we focused on fresh raw meats, but as demand grew for ready-to-cook meals, we invested in a larger market display.  When the neighboring unit became available, we then expanded to what the shop now is – a 1,600 square feet space and introduced a deli and cooked dinner range.

Today, around 70% of our sales come from pre-packed raw and cooked meals. Our team has grown as well, now with around 20-25 full-time and part-time staff members, along with our social media manager and we are all dedicated to serving you, our community.

Month-on-month, we listen to what customers say and adapt our menu choices to match your needs.
